I'm gonna go ahead and and get started
and introduce the cyte LX to you.

The new anatomical M mode assists with IVC
and cardiac calculations on difficult patients.
The improved cardiac calculation workflow includes volume
status assessment using assisted cardiac output or a CO
and carotid V-T-I-A-C-O in conjunction
with volume status calculations will streamline your
evaluations of patient's fluid responsiveness.

With the introduction of our new T eight three trans
software Jill ultrasound transducer, we are here to partner
with you and help overcome barriers that will pave the way
for the increased use
of transesophageal ultrasound at the bedside that will help
to improve patient care.
We know that trans esophageal ultrasound can assist
with a variety of things.
The first thing will be providing consistent
and repeatable cardiac imaging regardless
of the patient's condition or body habitus.
It can help guide and assure adequate compressions
during CPR and it can assist with quick
and accurate diagnosis at the point of care.
The new T eight three transducer has never been introduced
on any other SA cyte product.
It is lightweight and flexible for easy manipulation.
It incorporates our most advanced image clarity
for increased confidence during these difficult exams.
It has a small tip for ease
of insertion, which is important.
As many times you are sharing the esophagus in a critically
ill patient and it has lower power consumption
to maintain temperature while monitoring over time.
The transducer also includes an industry first resuscitation
exam type that focuses on supporting you when you need it
most with an onscreen protocol to assist
with getting the right views during the critical exam.
The new cardiac resuscitation exam type displays a scan
along protocol to assist in creating the views required
for adequate compressions, diagnosis
and treatment in critical moments when intervention
is needed most.
This allows for cardiac clarity during resuscitation.
It also allows for improved time
of pulse checks over transthoracic ultrasound
or manual feel.
It offers assurance of the correct location of compressions
so that they are more effective.
It allows for diagnosis
and treatment of the cause of the cardiac arrest,
and it offers monitoring in the operating room
for non-cardiac surgeries
or in the ICU for fluid responsiveness.
While using the heart is the best option
for a non-invasive solution to managing fluid resuscitation,
there can be many reasons why achieving a cardiac
window can be difficult.
These can include a patient's body habitus or position,
or perhaps they may be postcard surgery
or even the lungs may be obscuring the sonographic windows
by providing a surrogate.
In scenarios where these windows
of the heart cannot be obtained, clinicians will be able
to gather more information about the patient in a quick
and non-invasive manner.
Carotid blood flow is considered a marker of cardiac output
and is best used for trending or monitoring.
It can provide you the ability to use a carotid
as a surrogate for cardiac output.
This new release of Cyte LX includes a streamlined solution
for using the common carotid artery.
For this calculation, the system walks you
through measuring the diameter
and placing goal posts across a single heart rate
and then works out the VTI and carotid blood flow for you.
There is also a second set of measurement tools
so you can measure these over time,
filling a gap in our past products
and based on customer requests we have added
anatomical and mode.
It can be challenging evaluating the heart at the bedside
of critically ill patients,
and the flexibility of anatomical M mode enables you
to modify the angle of the M line off access
during an M mode evaluation.
This can assist in improving measurements when a patient is
not able to be rotated to their left side
or during an IVC collapsed measurement.
When it's difficult to image the vessel
perpendicular to the transducer.
Electrical tracing allows users
to perform more accurate cardiac measurements.
Identifying the moment in the cardiac cycle a measurement
occurs, allows for greater reproducibility
and comparative measurements.
The new sono site ECG module has a small footprint
with dedicated integration onto the system.
It returns a signal upon connection in about two
to three seconds and will provide continuous waveforms if
one of the lower leads pops off all while providing the user
a feedback that one of the leads has become disconnected.
It is compatible with the P 51
and the T 83.
Cardiac transducers
evaluation of common carotid blood flow can provide valuable
information regarding the hemodynamic status of a patient
and provides the ability for you to use a carotid
as a surrogate for cardiac output.
This gives you better ability
to non-invasively manage your patients' hemodynamic status
at the bedside and confidently monitor patient wellbeing
with a solutions designed to assess cardiac function,
including a CO anatomical mo
carotid blood flow calculation.
And the new T 83 transesophageal transducer.
Sono Cyte export was the first system
to include onboard training and educational videos.
We learned a lot from the export
and how you were all using the videos
and what your exp expectations are based on this feedback.
The following improvements were made with the launch
of the SOCY lx.
The scan along capability has frame in frame viewing
that allows for image optimization
to take place while learning
new video controls include pause, rewind, and fast forward.
You can also change the language on the fly,
so even if you have an English interface,
you can change the scan along tutorials to play in Spanish.
Cyte LX is great for teaching hospitals.
Also, the Cyte Institute is an educational resource
that's included in the purchase
of your SAO Site ultrasound system.

We're gonna hand it over to Jamie right now.
- Thank you, Laura. Actually, my name is Jamie
and I am here with our new SA site LX premium
ultrasound system.
This was developed to support users from novice to advance.
I'm gonna zoom in a little bit more
to the heads up work display, like Jody mentioned,
for optimal access
and for elevated image clarity,
there's an adaptable large clinical display monitor
that extends and rotates that 180 degrees
to allow flexibility
and control for optimal viewing during procedures.
I'm gonna go into now our user interface.
So to optimize workflow efficiency,
we have an intuitive touch panel with tactile
and physical keys with quick access
to the most used controls as well
as some secondary controls on the clinical
clinical touch monitor.
The uniquely shaped physical controls were designed
for clinicians to improve, improve workflow
by touch on the right we have our imaging modes.
We have some workflow controls centered around the track pad
and our most use controls on the left are
gain and our depth.
The touch panel gives quick access to patient information,
transducer and exam selection, learn modules,
and other imaging parameters such as center line
and steep needle profiling.
The learn button is where our onboard learning
tutorials are housed.
The user interface, it sealed edge to edge
with a cleaning mode button to streamline cleaning
and disinfecting.
So to switch transducers,
you're gonna simply just click on the transducer
your exam type you want,
and double click org highlight and scan.
- I'm gonna go ahead and get some gel
- With our heads up workflow.
We have the secondary controls up on the ultrasound system,
so you can actually go through
and adjust your depth as well
as your overall gain feature right off the touch panel.
You still have access to those down below on
that physical control area as well as if you optimize
or turn on any of our imaging modes such as color,
you can actually adjust some
of those parameters right on the touch panel as well
while utilizing ultrasound for critically ill patients,
we now offer carotid blood flow calculation when you are
unable to obtain appropriate cardiac windows due
to patient condition or position.
This provides valuable information
regarding the hemodynamic status of a patient.
You can see we are on a carotid exam preset
with a linear transducer.
And I'm gonna go ahead and obtain a carotid wave form
here in the carotid using our pulse
- Doppler.
And to activate that
- Again, we'll simply hit that D again
and that'll activate our tracing here.
As soon as we have that tracing,
you can click on the calcs here,
and from here you can actually see, you'll choose
that carotid diameter and you can use either the touch panel
or the touch pad here with that select button.
Or you can reach up
and actually adjust those measurements
with your finger up on the touch panel.
Once we have that measurement, we'll save that
and then we can go into our VTI, like Jody mentioned,
using those goalposts either on the touch panel here
or down below.
Using your track pad.
You can see up in that top left hand corner is
where we're gonna get that VTI velocities
as well as your heart rate.
In saving that, you'll see that it'll save all
that information up on that touch panel.
Some of our new other cardiac features on the Asano site LX
include our new ECG module.
So I'm gonna go ahead and have our model here kind
of roll up onto the side
and I'm going to adjust my cameras here just
for a second for that.
So the ECG module has a false small footprint
with a fast restore to provide a quick start on the tracing.
I'm gonna go into
and change transducers
to our phased array P five in the focus cardiac preset.
And you'll see kind of right up as soon
as we have these connected, it actually starts
that tracing along the bottom
of our image on our heads up display.
So if you are unable to get a good cardiac window,
we have an anatomical M mode that allows you to move
that M line off axis, and we're gonna come over
and get a parasternal along.
So my patient here can roll up on the side,
but if you can't, you can activate by pushing
that M button or M mode.
And then on the touch panel here is
where you have your anatomical M mode
that you can turn on and off.
From there, you can actually adjust using that track pad
or again, once up on that touch panel,
you can use the heads up display
and you can kind of adjust those settings
and alternate bet between setting the position
and the angle for that.
And then you can activate and get your M line tracing.
For workflow efficiency, we continue
to offer assisted cardiac output calculation on the
Cyte LX system.
To obtain this measurement,
you will first obtain the LVOT diameter in your para sternal
long axis as I have here.
So I'm gonna go ahead and just freeze that.
You'll able to syn back using either your track pad
or this wheel gain here to get that mids Sicily
where those aortic valves are open.
And from there you can hit your calcs.
Within this, you'll hit your assisted CO
and then your LVOT diameter,
and you'll use, like I said, either the touch panel
or your track pad and adjust
accordingly to get your LVOT diameter.
I'll go ahead and save that.
And then from there, we're gonna go into an apical five
- View.
- I'm gonna grab some more gel - Here.
And then you're gonna actually use
- Your pulse doppler to obtain
the measurement in the waveform here.
We'll activate that again,
and you'll see, you'll get your tracing
while you're live tracing.
You can hit this calc
and you'll see it kind of start calculating along
those beats.
And as I freeze that, you'll see here
that it actually offers you the chance to go ahead
and confirm
and you have full control over which beats you wanna use.
So if you don't wanna use that first beat, you can go ahead
and hit that trash can to delete that.
And from there you can go through
and actually confirm on all of those so you have that
capability and that control
for which measurements you wanna use.
As we do that, you'll also notice up in our heads
of display here
that you will actually see these along the top left hand
corner as your live scanning as well.
For that, SOCY has created a new
generation of transducers
that offer our most advanced image clarity.
Included in this family
of transducers is our new transesophageal ultrasound
probe, our T eight three.
So I'm gonna go in and choose our new cardiac
resuscitative exam type.
And I'm gonna go ahead just to give you an idea
of how that looks.
So when we are on the carotid resuscitation exam type,
you can actually see that it'll give you
that onscreen protocol
of the exam views right there along the bottom of
that touch screen and user display.
Our T eight three transducer here that we have,
as you can see as Jody mentioned, is a very lightweight
with a flexible shaft here that allows for easy manipulation
as well as that small insertion tip
for ease of use insertion.
As you can see, I can just kind of rotate back
and forth, which makes it very easy, very lightweight
to actually use during that.
So that kind of concludes our demo today.
I'm gonna send this back to Laura for any questions

but I'd like to confirm the question is,
is there a difference between the LX
and the PX regarding image quality?
- Oh, as far as the processor is the same
and we have the transducers are the same for that.
