BOTHELL, WA– November 15, 2011– SonoSite, Inc. (Nasdaq:SONO), the world leader and specialist in bedside and point-of-care ultrasound, today announced the appointment of Brian Noyes as the Vice President of Marketing for North America and South America.

Brian Noyes is an experienced leader in the healthcare industry and for the last 20 years, he worked at Ethicon Endo-Surgery (EES), a Johnson & Johnson Company, which is a leader in energy-based surgical devices. Holding positions of increasing responsibility, Mr. Noyes most recently served as the Global Product Director of the Energy Franchise where he was responsible for the development and marketing of a $1 billion franchise for laparoscopic products. In this role, Mr. Noyes was also responsible for launching products internationally and leading cross-functional teams. Previous to this position, he held managerial positions in sales and marketing. Prior to joining EES, Mr. Noyes worked at Camadon, Inc. in sales and marketing.
Mr. Noyes will report directly to Matthew Damron.
