Smartling is configured ot use three user roles. These roles define the tasks that you can do in the Smartling Dashboard.

These roles are described below:

Project Manager

A Smartling Project Manager may: 

  • Get cost estimates for pending translations
  • Approve those costs
  • Review and edit finished translations
  • Send completed translations back to Drupal

 

Translation Resource Manager

A Translation Resource Manager may:

  • Review and edit finished translations
  • Send completed translations to Drupal

A Translation Resource Manager may not obtain or approve cost estimates for pending translations.

 

Account Owner

An account owner has overall administrative privileges. They may act as project managers, and may also administer user accounts, and adjust global Smartling settings.
