INTRODUCTION TO ULTRASOUND-GUIDED PERIPHERAL IV PLACEMENT

Invest two hours and walk away with fundamental knowledge of Visual Medicine® techniques—knowledge you can use to enhance patient care by improving success rates of peripheral intravenous (IV) line placement under ultrasound guidance. This workshop focuses on ultrasound guidance for placing peripheral IVs.
Your scanning experience at this hands-on workshop will be maximized by:

• Viewing online educational videos prior to the workshop
• Having ample time to practice scanning techniques on live models
• Learning techniques from clinical experts
• Practicing needle insertion techniques on tissue phantoms
