SonoSite is dedicated to helping clinicians around the world improve the care that they provide to their patients through the delivery of innovative and high quality hand carried ultrasound products. Our commitment is reflected in our support of charitable medical work and disaster relief efforts both in the US and around the globe. Since 1999, SonoSite has worked with numerous non-profit organizations to bring high quality ultrasound to patients that would otherwise not have access to this technology due to social conditions, remote location or poverty.
SonoSite's Sound Caring Program is designed to help facilitate support of charitable healthcare work through discount sales and outright donations. Please see below for a description of each program.
The Sound Caring Selection Committee reviews applications once per quarter, and sends replies to applicants shortly after the quarterly review is completed.
The Sound Caring program does not provide short-term loans of SonoSite systems. If you are interested in a short-term loan for humanitarian work, please contact the SonoSite Sales Representative in your area.
Discount Sales
Through our Discount Sale program, SonoSite makes high-quality refurbished systems available to worthy organizations at a minimal price. Sound Caring provides most of its support through the discount sale program.
Interested organizations must meet certain eligibility requirements as outlined in the Sound Caring Program Information. A completed application is required to assure that organizations meet certain eligibility criteria.
Permanent Donation
In exceptional circumstances, SonoSite will consider outright donations of refurbished systems to registered non-profit organizations for the delivery of free healthcare serving indigent patients.
Interested organizations must meet certain eligibility requirements as outlined in the Sound Caring Program Information. A completed application is required to assure that organizations meet certain eligibility criteria.
Please note that meeting the eligibility requirements does not guarantee the discount sale or donation of a SonoSite system. While SonoSite seeks to fulfill as many applications as possible, we may not be able to support every application that requests a system.
